alextsang: I´ve tried to download from here, and tested in 2 different PC (both with windows) I´ve run the "exe" and also the "swf" file, worked fine.
I´ve also found that it gives "game over" if:
1) Can´t access the XML files (doesn´t exists or a bad path).
2) XML file is bad edited (check tags).
3) XML has less than 5 questions. (Minimum to run ok).

i download the file already.
when i enter player's name, and click"play", why the screen show "game over"?
is there any problem of file?

FlaQuizTV version alpha 0.4 released. Issue fixed! So, you will see very soon a decent quiz game, and i hope, with no more issues!

RipCool: That happens sometimes, indeed. I´ve traced it. After resolved this issue: http://pastebin.com/f352943fb
I´ll be able to eliminate (almost or maybe all) game bugs. For now, the solution is to continue to next question. Or restart the game. Sorry. :(

FlaQuizTV version alpha 0.2 released. Lots of improvements! Has now 2 txt idiom files, and 2 xml questions files. It´s more easy to edit. Start by reading the "README.TXT", then edit "SETTINGS.TXT" file. I´ll be back... soon... ;)

sdenne, that was my primary objective :) but since i´m not an expert with children (besides i do children magazines, they have professional educators as supervisors, it´s mandatory, of course), i´m VERY interested in your feedback. Thank you.

Interesting concept. I may have a use for this in children's education.

This is awesome! One thing - I seem to have encountered a bug. Question and answers don't line up - question always lags behind one.

Thankyou all. I´m still developing this game, so even for free and for everyone (no licences on it), it must be decent, with no bugs and complete. I´ll upload all the code updates soon, overwriting this same file.
Now, I´m trying to do a similar one using C++ and SDL for commercial purposes (BUT also the code will be unleashed as open source, in the future, after we earn some bucks), so if you are interested in give an hand, since its my first time in C++ stuff, please contact me. (Visit above author URL)

As always, the original version keep highsores (cookie object), and then write to a file (on the fly). Since I converted to AS2, its not possible anymore. Only using PHP (or any other server scripting language) is possible by now.
