Hi Folks,

here we are! Finally this is the updated version of XML GALLERY 2 (accidentaly is number 4, since dariolavora has already kindly modified XML gallery). Sorry for the delay but I've spent a lot of time on other projects.
So what's new?

- Automatilcally detects if a photo is vertical or horizzontal, you don't need to specified it in the xml file

- Automatically resize pictures to fit the photoframe (but it changes the ratio if the photo is not a standard format)

- I added the mc_tween into the zip file, so it could be easier to start if you missed it (remember to install it in order to modify the .fla)!

- There's no need for a small and bigger version, now it deals with only one format. (I think this could slow down the things a little bit, but once the image is loaded everything is faster!)

- Everything is a little bit faster

- I cleaned the code, removed all the original comments, and chage the name of some functions

- Fixed the bug that let the first photo unclickable

- I changed all the photos (now from my journey in Martinica!) and changed the color to let everything look like MICROSOFT SURFACE COMPUTING DEMO

There still a lot of things to do:

1) A php+xml version (maybe this evening?!!)
2) INERTIA (PLEASEEEE I NEED A HELP!!!!!!)
3) Display photo information once you have it zoomed
4) Fix some minor bug: the first time you open a photo (anyone) when you double click to close it, the photo number 1 automatically moves to the higher level
5) Add some functionality (mainly print, save, send and something else).
6) Clean the code a little bit more, and add comments in english.

Well m8 i'm very impressed with your work i would definitely rate it 5/5! But i'm a little disappointed cause it was written in as2 when it was displayed as as3 so i kinda felt a little cheated. But its alright. Keep up the good work man!

this does not work for me. I get an error when opening the mc file.... besides that it looks good...shame though it doesnt work....

I fixed it, in your XML file you ware linking to 8.jpg but files ware 8.JPG with uppercase extension.

mc9625, do you know what could be the problem with your listing? The images are* in the same directory and XML file links to them.
