This appears to be a flash file, you cannot see a preview because flash player is no longer supoorted in browsers, but you can still download the file to study it's source code.

Then with a Version 12 no, it's not possible to open .fla but if it's compatible with CS5 Ok ! it's humour, nice...
Cate: I AM using Flash Pro CS5 and since it was created with CS5.5 it will not open UNLESS you are using CS5.5. So when you say "everybody like StHelen, Yvanoph and the others haven't got CS5 or CS5.5" is not correct.
Sorry but your fla is with CS5.5 (Flash 12 and not Flash 10) yes and not with CS5 !!! it's a real problem because everybody like StHelen, Yvanoph and the others havent't got CS5 or CS5.5 !!!

saifurrehman.com, if you are using Windows when creating this file, make sure you check the "share with" option and add everyone and enable "read and write" option when sharing; this may be one possible reason why others cannot open the .fla file.
I have the same problem here with opening the .fla file, I am using Flash Pro CS5 and since the .fla was created with CS5.5 it won't open with anything earlier than CS5.5, but great looking application.
It must be CS 5.5, that is what CS 5 is saying in the error message.

Wrote as FL10, unable to open with CS4...
Tried with CS5.5, received the same answer, "Unexpected file format".
So, CS5 running, tried to open the .fla file, received "Not build with CS5" !
And I'll not trie with CS3 as much this don't have AS3 (Smile)
In fact, with which of them to open ? Because looking nice bur unable to resize as I wish.
