Minthu, basically im from a visual art field, i find it really very difficult in understanding and learning process of scripting in flash. plz let me know if I could get some links where i could learn flash action scripting right from scratch. I have been familiar with these url's like w3schools, flashkit, kirupa ets... The query im coming across is that.... all these tutorials provide us the script which is already generated, and learners like me create the necessary moviclips and all the other necessary things and finally incorporating the available script through COPY & PASTE method. Rather than this im interested in learning the core method of generating a flash action script based on the necessity. Plz guide me if you happen to know such url's or refer to such books.

the movement speed-up whenever you go left and right.But when you go out of bounds, it still remains fast.
i would like to make the speed of the carousel go back to the default speed when the cursor goes out of the flash stage.
it could go like this:
if "cursor" > stage then speed= "default speed"
but i dont know how to put it in AS3.

this is a great work made by mr lee brimelow in gotoandlearn.com , in the gotoandlearn forums there's also a newer version called carousel3 which loads external swf movies into the main stage, though is cool you added a description and a url, it would be more useful if it stays visible once you have clicked any item, otherwise, you have to remember the whole url.
Why did you remove the tweened alpha description? it was pretty cool, now there's no action on click :-(
