@romeusantosjr.: There is a movieclip called 'Embedfont' in the library containing an empty text field. Edit the font-embedding properties of that text field to fit your needs (the more chars you add, the bigger the compiled file).

I like ur stylish menu, but that did not work.
im trying to load swf's onto the same stage as the menu. the url is not going to change.

Try replacing at line 135:
navigateToURL ((new URLRequest(url)), htmltarget);
with loadMovie, something like this might work:
_root.loadMovie(url);

If that works it should load in _root the swf specified at begining of the file (where URL to open is set now).

how can i make it so instead of linking to a url i make it load a external swf.

@fbronnie: Adding pictures would require a major rewrite of the menu-code. Maybe if I find time, I will make a similar menu with pictures.

@silviadec:
first please check the HTML-target settings in the "menuArray", should be "_blank" by default. Then you need to embed the flash-file in every page you want to load!
Another option would be using frames(which in most cases is bad web design).
By the way: the menu on my bands page works in a quite similar way...

BUT WHEN YOU CLICK ON THE MENU, IT OPEN PAGES IN OTHER WINDOWS AND NOT IN THE SAME PAGE OF THE MENU ITSELF.
i WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS MENU AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE AND BELOW THE PAGE OPENED.

...I really don't know what you mean. Obviously, there is everything in the file to use it as a menu opening HTML pages.

"Unexpected file format" means you need a newer version of flash.

Thanks for this job,, but I have a problem, when I open the flash document the program show me this message ( Unexpected file format ) .... WHY :(((((

and I use 3 programs for flsh ( Flash 8, Flash MX2004 and SWISHMax ) and ALL these programs show me the same messag.

@mitra: you should be able to do most changes in the actionscript on frame 1 in the .fla - file. It's all commented there. The slides are created within the SlideClass.as file.

Works ok in both browsers now because Flobster sent some updated files.

Works fine in Firefox...

easeOutBounce is nice efect...

For me it hapens in IE when I refresh the page, first load works ok. I am guessing that it doesn't detect the stage width at the correct moment and when file loads from cache then some parameters like stage width/height are available faster.
Edit: the file looks very nice though.

Flobster, sometimes it loads with all items overlaped to the right and no colors. Have you ever seen it that way? Can you update it?
