Hi, how do you alter the links so that when you roll over an image you can click on it and it will take you to the desired URL ?

I like this Photo Gallery Flash very much. We are a tribute band and like to show some foto's from our gigs in seperate pages. I intergrated this flash in our website anouk-project.nl but we like to show the prictures in a seperate page which corresponse with the gig we did. In the subdir Pages we can only declare one images.xml. How do i tell the flash-file wich xml it has to look at, so the right pictures will be shown (place in seperate subdirs).

This maybe out of context but can someone please explain (or paste a link) how flash galleries such as this (with seperate image folders and all) are embedded in an existing website layout in dreamweaver or other WYSIWYG softwares?

What do i have to do to change the width of the movie, which parts of the code do i have to adjust?

Let say for example that i want my movie 600 px wide.

Is there a way to make the gallery start scrolling/playing automatically?

At this moment I dont have links from the xmls images list. I keep it only with images list.
Works fine in this way, but when I tried to loaded as external swf file the images desapear and my main swf file shows an error: couldnt find the xml file. (Both files, photo gallery and xml are inside a sublevel carpet, called "00") So, I changed the adress into the photo gallery code:
In the lines 43 and 44 Ive changed the folder adress:

images_xml.load("00/images.xml");
}// End of the function

In this way, my main swf file seems to works well, theres no error posted, the photo gallery swf files loads, shows the loading process, but the images and the slider dont.
This is my code to load the external swf file:


var mcl:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();

var mclL:Object = new Object();

parentMovieClip.nestedMovieClip.

mcl.addListener(mclL);

mcl.loadClip("00/rodajeAmbar.swf",holde r);

Any ideas?

I found where you edit the url's in xml but when I make the slightest changes to the xml, the flash file does not display the images in the slide.
Can you post 1 line of example for the xml and the linking to other links.

I want to show this photo gallery as external swf movieClip, inside other movieClip. I can loaded, but I cant see the images. I need another code to get the images files visible. Im working under flash 8, As 2.0.

how do you alter the links (The images) to link to another page?

also if you want to remove the linking functionality completly just remove lines 74 -79 on frame in the AS.

You can edit the links in the XML document.

I like this file a bunch...but am wondering how to alter the code to just load the photos and not have them as active buttons. possible?

This doesn't seem to be working on Mac FireFox, the latest 2.0.0.15

The images scroll, but there is no dynamic scaling of larger images.

LOVE IT....suppose there's no easy way to verticalize it though, eh?

I think it is because of flood, we had some issue with some clients form brasil and few other countries. I have to double check this.

Pretty cool. I think it'd be really cool is a the scroll wheel on the mouse could move it, or clicking on the right side advances it, and clicking on the left side goes back one image, or maybe using the keyboard arrow keys too... or a play button for auto slide. LOL.
