Good concept, could be quite useful. I agree with pawansingh007 however that the number of colors allowed should be more in the output "steps" array. But also the colors you choose from, it should include ALL colors from the color spectrum. (maybe then use getPixel to select them?)

Excellent Work, but you should define the color code detail box with scrollbar, to show complete list, because when I entered 100 steps and click calculate, it shows the 27 values only, because your textarea box have no scrollbar, so it shows 26 to 28 values only, when we select the data in the box and drag it to bottom, then it shows the remaining 60 values more but not complete 100.
So repaire your code to show complete list of color values, or define a limitation alert to make it limited. Also define this textarea box scrollable and put a scrollbar with, hope you can resolve it.
