Can somebody help me to change font in this code?

the listing author flobster 15 years ago

@gauravs: to be more precise it is in fact not a variable on its own, but a property of the display object. easy speaking it behaves like a variable. you're totally right when pointing out that every variable must be defined first!

user gauravs
gauravs 15 years ago

Thanks for your reply, but i wonder you haven't declare that variable and why AS3 is not giving any error. How As3 comes to know what is "cid". I think in AS3 it is compulsory to define it before useand curtain is an object, that means "cid" is a property of class "Curtain". if u will reply these questions then those will help me. Thanks again.

thanks gauravs! You're right, cid is a variable that holds the number of the current sliding item. I used it to identify which slide is moving etc.

Hi Flobster, This is really great. I am learning actionscript.Thats why i dowonload it to know how you people write script. one thing i want to know, you have written "curtain.cid = i". What is "cid". what is "cid" and from where it came. I found whole script. Is it variable ?? please help me and reply. Thanks...

It's great job flobster! I think you should put images insted of colors and also XML option would be perfect for this menu.

@dazzlingruby: You can use it for what ever you like to (at least it is not commercial. Take a look at the comments in the actionscript on the mainframe. Should be clear, what to do.

@sammyjay: The Converse thing seems to be quite different, but i am thinking about making a more dynamic version of this one, where you could set the widths of menu items.

A while back I searched forever to find a simple slider like this.. nice job! Does the black box have to disappear? It would be wicked if the other boxes could get smaller... converse.de is a perfect example of taking this concept to the next level!
